clamping or placing clips on the nerve don’t work to stop Blushing of the face as well as precise cutting of the nerve where it crosses the 2nd rib head (just above the T2 ganglion).
I have seen 90% of my patients see improvement in their severe Blushing after MicroETS. The chance of the nerve being able to regenerate is low, around 5%.
So, blushing comes back if the nerve regenerates, but the nerve likely cut be recut if that were the case.
