I was interested in this discussion and I found it fascinating to discuss these matters especially about both aspects Islam and psychology .I strongly agree with what Prof. Subaie has stated and as well as psychologist Nawal.

However in my opinion , as a trainee in the field of psycho-analysis at the university college of Dublin ,I think there are far much in the dream and its interpretations as one of the investigational techniques in psychoanalysis .In clinical work ,the necessity for understanding the meaning (the language of the dream )and the contents of the dream is very crucial .This is why it has a great importance because it dependence of the person own language and the metaphor of one’s culture ,that leads to one’s truth subjectivity , according to a French analyst Lacan .(1960).Or the French Freud as they called him. As one of the clinical material provided by the person consists of his or her own words.

We have in our Islamic Library the Interpretations of the dreams for Ibn Sireen but proudly I found it here in the library on one shelf of the great Documents translated in English .He used the two sources the holy Quran and the Sunna prophet Muhammad( peace be upon him) sayings.As a matter of fact, knowing that I did some researches in that subject .Amazingly ,I found Ibn Sireen talked about that matter in his section under the subdivisions of dreams what he called the oneself discourse from few centuries ago .Sadly, I can’t say much about him and the way of giving the full detail about dreams and the symbols and when can we make the good interpretation .

To cut a long story short ,the professional analysts here were interested and they could not put in words how they were amazed . I wish I could write in Arabic and I know it would be difficult to translate in Arabic but I would be grateful if any one of the readers could translate the last few lines that I typed.
